As we are now less then 3 weeks away from the release of Bloodshot… I was reflecting over the weekend about what an incredible experience it was. The studio is singing its praises and talking about just how FUN the film is… but I can’t help but to think about how fun and what a great experience it was to film, in South Africa with the most amazing cast. Haha. This picture says it all, Guy Pearce… who was such a joy to work with and to create something unique, fun and compelling. There’s nothing better than working with people you have always admired. Blessed, Grateful and inspired. #Bloodshot #bloodshot2020…

So after completing the long but rewarding sessions for ADR on Bloodshot, I was able to really see a large part of the movie. I remember heading to Africa over a year ago to embark on filming. The objective was ambitious but clear… to launch Vailiant Comics in the cinematic space, while… and more importantly taking a new approach to the superhero genre. Wow. Just wow. I see why I needed so much time to return from that character. For one thing, Haha… to say he is Crazy is an understatement. It is also clear why Bloodshot has been the Military’s favorite comic. The themes of the forgotten or exploited soldier run deep. At the core is love… however it’s use is altogether new and completely engaging… sorry to go on, but the nuances have stayed with me and as always you make me feel comfortable to share those deeper thoughts. Again, thank you for believing in me. Only hope to make you proud. Bloodshot February 2020…

Loving your fan art… after wrapping the Europe portion of Fast9, the first thing I did was watch Dave Wilson’s latest cut of Bloodshot. Wow… after giving everything to the film I am working on currently, it hits you. The magic we created in Africa last year is nothing short of a miracle. Truly a new approach to the super hero genre… to play a character the evokes both fear and empathy… the Soldiers journey. JUST WOW! The cast was brilliant, the crew will be proud for the rest of their lives… and no one will EVER imagine that Dave Wilson was a FIRST time Director. I am speechless. Will upload a full version of the trailer shortly. @TheGuyPearce @eizagonzalez @samheughan @talulahrm @alexandhern @lamorne @siddhu.boy…

Sony is blown away by what they are seeing with the new film Bloodshot… but my mind goes back to the incredible crew that made the magic possible in Africa. Blessed and grateful. Wait until you meet Ray Garrison!…

I was lucky enough to watch the Blood Moon from Africa… it was such a profound moment. I couldn’t help but to reflect on the legendary General’s words… “We will find a way… or we will make one”….

There was a rumor that I was going to Comic Con this year, but unfortunately scheduling won’t allow it. As you know I am in Africa filming with a director that I have dreamed of working with for a long time… Ang Lee. The Axe and Cross begins October 23rd! #WitchHunterWednesdays…
