Happy Monday everyone… I wanted to share a pic that someone sent me from my home town, New York. I am feeling pretty emotional because the picture of the second single is a picture taken the year my father took me to my first, Times Square movie. It was a film called Uptown Saturday Night, directed by Sydney Poitier… Anyway, the thought that some day I would also have movies showing in Times Square was always a dream I aspired to from the age of seven. What I didn’t think would ever be possible was that I would actually be able to sing for the world. Because you are all so damn supportive of everything I do, I was able to turn a year of Quarantine into a year of magic. Gracias. Thank you for always believing in me. I hope my life makes yours better… all love, always. #DaysAreGone #FeelLikeIDo #Smile
Happy birthday Pablo…
You have and are still changing the world. Your love lives through all whom have had the great fortune to know you. Meadow graduated this summer… made us all so proud. She is even building a foundation in your name to help the world. Would you believe Cody is in Houston continuing the work you were so passionate about… Remeber when we were in Haiti and you asked me what the name should be… and now @reachoutww is realizing the dream. All the angels miss you… I miss you.
I have traveled the world showing the film we are all proud of… but tomorrow we have the world premiere of F8 in New York City!!! Dream come true.
I had a dream…
So honored to be here in India for the first time. The xXx Global tour has been great and now I and @deepikapadukone are going to share this film with her country today. As a child I always dreamed of visiting India… Thank you Paramount for making this dream come true. Xander.
What an emotional day… when a dream comes true. F8 trailer will launch in seven hours in the very city that my love and passion for film began as a child. I was 5 years old when my father first took us to the movies in Times Square and from that moment I knew what I would dedicate my life to… the art of making film.
We are seven hours away from making history!
There is a good chance I will facebook live the first Times Square trailer debut in history… brace yourself.
It took seven years to declare the dream… and from 2009 until now to realize it.
The whole team involved, everyone along the way…
My brother Dave who’s birthday was yesterday, had a dream of Donnie and I working together…. Haha. We did it and it was a great experience. Chemistry and magic. I am so proud of Our international XxX cast.
I have a dream…
First showing to lead the weekend is 7pm today. Excited to hear your response!
Because of the support you have all given me over the years, I was able to create a film that spoke to a life long passion for fantasy… The cast was dream to work with. I hope above all you are inspired… Inspired to follow your dreams.
