So after completing the long but rewarding sessions for ADR on Bloodshot, I was able to really see a large part of the movie. I remember heading to Africa over a year ago to embark on filming. The objective was ambitious but clear… to launch Vailiant Comics in the cinematic space, while… and more importantly taking a new approach to the superhero genre. Wow. Just wow. I see why I needed so much time to return from that character. For one thing, Haha… to say he is Crazy is an understatement. It is also clear why Bloodshot has been the Military’s favorite comic. The themes of the forgotten or exploited soldier run deep. At the core is love… however it’s use is altogether new and completely engaging… sorry to go on, but the nuances have stayed with me and as always you make me feel comfortable to share those deeper thoughts. Again, thank you for believing in me. Only hope to make you proud. Bloodshot February 2020…

You all know how much I love music, so when one of your favorite producers @kygomusic invites you to the studio you go… what I didn’t expect was to be asked to go into the recording booth. Haha… never be afraid to step out of your comfort zone!…

As you all know I started acting when I was seven years old, and started bouncing in NYC when I was 17 to pay the bills. Failed the first time I came to Hollywood at 23 and then went back to NY to learn how to be a filmmaker because no one was giving me an opportunity to “make it”… I directed a short film called MultiFacial about a struggling multicultural actor trying to work in New York… I then came back to LA with my short film at 27 yrs old. At that time I would drive around with VHS copies of my short film in the trunk just in case I bumped into someone who could help me with my dreams. One day I was driving by the Four Seasons hotel when I saw one of my favorite actors walking into the hotel. Morgan Freeman… he was seriously one of my acting role models, I mean I remembered him from a show called Electric Company and always followed his career. This was my BIG chance, maybe I could after 20 years finally get noticed. So I pulled over, popped the trunk and ran after him to give him my short film… Sunday night, twenty something years later, he stopped me, and began telling me the whole story of that day in front of the Four Seasons. Wow. It was so surreal! That is the moment that is captured in the picture of my previous post. #followyourdreams…

Last Night was Surreal. The worlds favorite film… I can never thank you enough… I tried to hold it together, but when I saw the two awards… I went back in memory to the first award Fast won in 2002. I had just completed the first xXx and MTV and the early FF fans gave best duo to Pablo and I, for our work, the brotherhood we portrayed in the first Fast and Furious… Thanks for the love. We make them with Our hearts….
