Your creativity inspires… As a parent we all hope that our next generation understands the value of giving, of philanthropy. It makes me so proud to see that generous spirit Pablo had live on in his daughter @meadowwalker
For the holiday season she has started a fund in partnership with @pencilsofpromise to build a school in her father’s name. So proud…
Loving your fan art… after wrapping the Europe portion of Fast9, the first thing I did was watch Dave Wilson’s latest cut of Bloodshot. Wow… after giving everything to the film I am working on currently, it hits you. The magic we created in Africa last year is nothing short of a miracle. Truly a new approach to the super hero genre… to play a character the evokes both fear and empathy… the Soldiers journey. JUST WOW! The cast was brilliant, the crew will be proud for the rest of their lives… and no one will EVER imagine that Dave Wilson was a FIRST time Director. I am speechless. Will upload a full version of the trailer shortly.

My brother Bobby… let me tell you about this amazing individual. He has a way of giving everyone he comes in contact with so much inspiration. You see it in the roles he plays. Like me he has never won an Oscar, but that means zero when it comes to how he has affected the world. His very existence represents the power of resilience. The love you have for him pales in comparison to the love I have for his spirit. On the weekend of the highest grossing movie of all times he in the most humble way says, your next brother. Fast 9 is going to take the industry to new heights! His belief in me sometimes scares me. I never want to let anyone down. So I will do everything in my power to make sure FAST 9 is everything! I love you RDJ and your brotherhood is truly a gift of which I am eternally grateful for.

So grateful for the experience of filming Bloodshot in Africa…
Thank you all for making us feel like home and giving all of that beautiful talent to make what will be a very special film. Looking forward to my inevitable return.
As you all know I started acting when I was seven years old, and started bouncing in NYC when I was 17 to pay the bills. Failed the first time I came to Hollywood at 23 and then went back to NY to learn how to be a filmmaker because no one was giving me an opportunity to “make it”… I directed a short film called MultiFacial about a struggling multicultural actor trying to work in New York… I then came back to LA with my short film at 27 yrs old. At that time I would drive around with VHS copies of my short film in the trunk just in case I bumped into someone who could help me with my dreams. One day I was driving by the Four Seasons hotel when I saw one of my favorite actors walking into the hotel. Morgan Freeman… he was seriously one of my acting role models, I mean I remembered him from a show called Electric Company and always followed his career. This was my BIG chance, maybe I could after 20 years finally get noticed. So I pulled over, popped the trunk and ran after him to give him my short film…
Sunday night, twenty something years later, he stopped me, and began telling me the whole story of that day in front of the Four Seasons. Wow. It was so surreal! That is the moment that is captured in the picture of my previous post.
