Happy Monday everyone… I wanted to share a pic that someone sent me from my home town, New York. I am feeling pretty emotional because the picture of the second single is a picture taken the year my father took me to my first, Times Square movie. It was a film called Uptown Saturday Night, directed by Sydney Poitier… Anyway, the thought that some day I would also have movies showing in Times Square was always a dream I aspired to from the age of seven. What I didn’t think would ever be possible was that I would actually be able to sing for the world. Because you are all so damn supportive of everything I do, I was able to turn a year of Quarantine into a year of magic. Gracias. Thank you for always believing in me. I hope my life makes yours better… all love, always. #DaysAreGone #FeelLikeIDo #Smile
There are movies… and then there is Fast, every frame is sacred to me. Glad to have partners who feel that same responsibility. Very excited to share the new countries we will be filming in… Blessed and grateful. #JustinLin #London #Fast9
So after F8 was number one for three weeks, and Guardians already at number one for two weeks… today Xander comes out on Blu-ray and DVD… the last two years has produced some great movies all of which I am proud of. Thank you all for love…
What an emotional day… when a dream comes true. F8 trailer will launch in seven hours in the very city that my love and passion for film began as a child. I was 5 years old when my father first took us to the movies in Times Square and from that moment I knew what I would dedicate my life to… the art of making film.
We are seven hours away from making history!
There is a good chance I will facebook live the first Times Square trailer debut in history… brace yourself.
You beautiful angel… proud of you for writing this post. Compassion for all, even trolls, is never wrong. #LeadWithLove

Very very honored to be nominated for 2 Grammys and to be considered to play an important and evolving icon. Is it fat shaming if you know you’re not fat and have zero shame in your game? I don’t think so. I am strong and proud of how I live my life and say what I mean and fight for what I believe in and I have a blast doing it with the people I love. Where’s the shame? It’s not there. It’s an illusion. When I look in the mirror I know who I am. Im a great friend, sister, daughter and girlfriend. I’m a badass comic headlining arenas all over the world and making tv and movies and writing books where I lay it all out there and I’m fearless like you can be. Thanks to everyone for the kind words and support and again my deepest sympathy goes out to the trolls who are in more pain than we will ever understand. I want to thank them for making it so evident that I am a great choice. It’s that kind of response that let’s you know something’s wrong with our culture and we all need to work together to change it. Anyone who has ever been bullied or felt bad about yourself I am out there fighting for you, for us. And I want you to fight for yourself too! We need to laugh at the haters and sympathize with them. They can scream as loud as they want. We can’t hear them because we are getting shit done. I am proud to lead by example. “I say if I’m beautiful, I say if I’m strong. You will not determine my story. I will” #thegirlwiththelowerbacktattoo
Growing up, I always took pride in knowing we shared the same birthday… When I was lucky enough to realize my dreams and began making movies he reached out to me to send his niece, who was sick at the time, a signed Dvd. Someone who I respected for so long knew I existed and wanted me to fulfill his niece’s wishes. Profound moment.
Happy Birthday Nelson Mandela!
You are still in Our hearts.
Making movies allows me to work with some really great people… Nina is one of them. Xander and Becky!
I read your comments and am reminded how lucky I am to have the encouragement and back up you all give… Movies are sacred to me…
Our family keeps growing.
