Loving your fan art… after wrapping the Europe portion of Fast9, the first thing I did was watch Dave Wilson’s latest cut of Bloodshot. Wow… after giving everything to the film I am working on currently, it hits you. The magic we created in Africa last year is nothing short of a miracle. Truly a new approach to the super hero genre… to play a character the evokes both fear and empathy… the Soldiers journey. JUST WOW! The cast was brilliant, the crew will be proud for the rest of their lives… and no one will EVER imagine that Dave Wilson was a FIRST time Director. I am speechless. Will upload a full version of the trailer shortly. @TheGuyPearce @eizagonzalez @samheughan @talulahrm @alexandhern @lamorne @siddhu.boy…

You were the very first director… the very first to see my short film and encourage me. You have been a hero for so many… and affected all of our lives. Your life is one of pure inspiration. We will miss you John….

Last night I took my mother to the premiere of ‘Spielberg’… You all know it was he who first hired me as an actor in a Hollywood movie. He had watched the short film I directed, Multi-facial and had the role of Carparzo written for me. It was great seeing him and catching up. He reminded me how committed I was to being a director, and gave me a lot to think about… All love……

I remember that day… My good friend Jerry who worked with the camera crew on so many of these, after the first take of Dom and Brian… he said with a smile, when you and Paul are together on screen. This is what we wait for… Let those you care about know, it can never be too much. Life is short….

The music of my brothers Tego and Don has inspired me more than you can imagine. In someways it helped me to imagine myself returning to the Dom character, which is why you hear the song before my cameo in Tokyo Drift. If you haven’t seen the short film LOS BANDOLEROS that bridges the First Fast with the Fourth one you are missing out on key moments in the saga….

The Return of Xander Cage is the number one movie in the world for 2017, and I have to thank you all again! With a great unifying director and a cast that was truly exceptional. The positivity each of the cast brought to the filming experience and the Global Domination tour was nothing short of amazing. Proud to be a part of the xXx League!…

As you all know I started acting when I was seven years old, and started bouncing in NYC when I was 17 to pay the bills. Failed the first time I came to Hollywood at 23 and then went back to NY to learn how to be a filmmaker because no one was giving me an opportunity to “make it”… I directed a short film called MultiFacial about a struggling multicultural actor trying to work in New York… I then came back to LA with my short film at 27 yrs old. At that time I would drive around with VHS copies of my short film in the trunk just in case I bumped into someone who could help me with my dreams. One day I was driving by the Four Seasons hotel when I saw one of my favorite actors walking into the hotel. Morgan Freeman… he was seriously one of my acting role models, I mean I remembered him from a show called Electric Company and always followed his career. This was my BIG chance, maybe I could after 20 years finally get noticed. So I pulled over, popped the trunk and ran after him to give him my short film… Sunday night, twenty something years later, he stopped me, and began telling me the whole story of that day in front of the Four Seasons. Wow. It was so surreal! That is the moment that is captured in the picture of my previous post. #followyourdreams…
