Happy Monday everyone… I wanted to share a pic that someone sent me from my home town, New York. I am feeling pretty emotional because the picture of the second single is a picture taken the year my father took me to my first, Times Square movie. It was a film called Uptown Saturday Night, directed by Sydney Poitier… Anyway, the thought that some day I would also have movies showing in Times Square was always a dream I aspired to from the age of seven. What I didn’t think would ever be possible was that I would actually be able to sing for the world. Because you are all so damn supportive of everything I do, I was able to turn a year of Quarantine into a year of magic. Gracias. Thank you for always believing in me. I hope my life makes yours better… all love, always. #DaysAreGone #FeelLikeIDo #Smile
My father has encouraged me from day one… he is a blessing to my life in more ways than I can ever describe. From teaching me to act when I was a child to now encouraging me to sing. Anyone that knows him knows how lucky I am to call him dad. I love you papi. Your grateful son.
As you all know each film demands a world tour. The next is Fast 8 a film I am so proud of… Remember when I stepped out of my comfort zone and recorded It Ain’t Me? Well my oldest daughter asked to go see where I recorded it… when she got there she asked if she could sing a song in the same booth…
When I heard the song I cried… literally fell to pieces. Not sure, but I may share it on Vinbook.
I love you all.
WOW!!!! The new Kygo mix is up on my Facebook page. I stepped out of my comfort zone for this one, haha. Let me know what you think. Thank you @kygomusic for producing this 2017 HIT! Thank you for believing in me enough to ask me to sing. Thank you @Selenagomez for bringing that beautiful and magical voice. Pained and celebratory simultaneously. I followed your lead when I went into the booth… #kygoselenavin
