Happy Monday everyone… I wanted to share a pic that someone sent me from my home town, New York. I am feeling pretty emotional because the picture of the second single is a picture taken the year my father took me to my first, Times Square movie. It was a film called Uptown Saturday Night, directed by Sydney Poitier… Anyway, the thought that some day I would also have movies showing in Times Square was always a dream I aspired to from the age of seven. What I didn’t think would ever be possible was that I would actually be able to sing for the world. Because you are all so damn supportive of everything I do, I was able to turn a year of Quarantine into a year of magic. Gracias. Thank you for always believing in me. I hope my life makes yours better… all love, always. #DaysAreGone #FeelLikeIDo #Smile
Walking through the kitchen towards the roof in Times Square to debut the trailer of F8… all my brothers were there… especially the one you couldn’t see. He was the one who was the most proud! Thank you all for coming on this journey with Our Fast family and making this the most viewed trailer in history.
Last night was so surreal… all the hard work, so many years… You all showed up in Times Square to show the whole fast Family your support and enthusiasm. Fast 8 will challenge the code of family started so many years ago…
What an emotional day… when a dream comes true. F8 trailer will launch in seven hours in the very city that my love and passion for film began as a child. I was 5 years old when my father first took us to the movies in Times Square and from that moment I knew what I would dedicate my life to… the art of making film.
We are seven hours away from making history!
There is a good chance I will facebook live the first Times Square trailer debut in history… brace yourself.
Just wait… December 11th Times Square.
December 11th we will be in my home town to release the world wide trailer for Fast 8. Times Square!
