What a great day at the premiere for Fast and Furious Spy Racers, an original animated series for Netflix. Dec 26th. Hats off to Universal and DreamWorks for creating a show for the younger audience while maintaining the core values and themes we have become so familiar with in the Saga. The whole cast did great… including the Alpha Angel. Haha. All love Always.
So after completing the long but rewarding sessions for ADR on Bloodshot, I was able to really see a large part of the movie. I remember heading to Africa over a year ago to embark on filming. The objective was ambitious but clear… to launch Vailiant Comics in the cinematic space, while… and more importantly taking a new approach to the superhero genre. Wow. Just wow. I see why I needed so much time to return from that character. For one thing, Haha… to say he is Crazy is an understatement. It is also clear why Bloodshot has been the Military’s favorite comic. The themes of the forgotten or exploited soldier run deep. At the core is love… however it’s use is altogether new and completely engaging… sorry to go on, but the nuances have stayed with me and as always you make me feel comfortable to share those deeper thoughts. Again, thank you for believing in me. Only hope to make you proud.
Bloodshot February 2020
Love seeing your creativity… which character you choose to spotlight and the themes you incorporate. You all are so good at it haha.
To see my bro directing Star Trek is somewhat surreal. We have spent many hours cementing the themes that have played out in the Fast saga. He has always been a great partner in willing to reach higher. The irony is that we now both have Paramount Blockbusters coming out. The trailer to the new xXx is attached to his print. Haha. Last night I had the pleasure of watching Star Trek Beyond with my family before heading back to the Fast 8 set… One word for you Justin…
