Happy Monday everyone… I wanted to share a pic that someone sent me from my home town, New York. I am feeling pretty emotional because the picture of the second single is a picture taken the year my father took me to my first, Times Square movie. It was a film called Uptown Saturday Night, directed by Sydney Poitier… Anyway, the thought that some day I would also have movies showing in Times Square was always a dream I aspired to from the age of seven. What I didn’t think would ever be possible was that I would actually be able to sing for the world. Because you are all so damn supportive of everything I do, I was able to turn a year of Quarantine into a year of magic. Gracias. Thank you for always believing in me. I hope my life makes yours better… all love, always. #DaysAreGone #FeelLikeIDo #Smile
We all know the legacy Chris Bridges has created in the music industry… but what I am particularly proud of is his growth as an actor. It has been a pleasure to watch him turn Tej into a household name. His contributions don’t stop there, when it comes to the World’s saga… look how he embraces and welcomes our new cast member John Cena… grateful for both of them.
Never turn your back on family… even when I must…
I asked on Vinbook which song I should try to tackle next… one person suggested “one call away”..
What is funny is that on the way to my mother’s birthday dinner Sunday, my daughter asked to play a song for me and it was that very song. Wow. I know it doesn’t sound like a big deal, but when you children turn you on to a great song it’s kinda super cool. Especially when it’s you lil bro Charlie.
Haha. Ok ok… And then you ask why he’s my brother. This is exactly me growing up in New York. No money but rich with drive and ambition… Quick to turn a Subway car into a stage. With this kind of commitment, how could you not check out his new album?
Tyrese’s last solo album out TODAY!!!
It was the turn of the millennium… I was beginning to fantasize about an epic, ancient story… #BarcaBC
